A day after the Obama administration formally issued guidelines to federal prosecutors directing them to respect state laws regarding medical marijuana, the new US attorney for NH, John Kacavas, announced that he will not prosecute medical marijuana patients regardless of whether or not HB 648 passes the legislature. This means NH patients will be safe from federal prosecution, but will they be safe from NH police? Here's the AP story from the Monitor.
